You may use your Petit Coulou as long as your child fits in his car seat. It all depends on your baby’s weight and height. For more details, refer to your car seat manufacturer’s manual.
The hat is strongly recommended, as 10% of body heat is lost through the head. As for slippers, mittens and blankets, they are not mandatory, but they help your baby's comfort, especially during long stroller rides. Be careful with overheating, it can be just as harmful as cold.

If the winter coat you wear in extreme cold becomes too hot, so will the Petit Coulou Winter Cover. It would therefore be preferable to choose a mid-season cover.
